Herbal Nature Euphrasia tincture (Eyebright) 50ml - Euphrasia officinalis
Tinctures are derived from immersing a herb in an alcoholic solution (usually pure alcohol) for a period of 4-6 weeks. During this time, the active ingredients of the herb are dissolved in the alcohol solution resulting in the formation of the cotton. The teas are much more drastic than effusions and infusions.
Euphrasia officinalis contains the same active ingredients as the dried herb Eughera. In modern herbal therapy, Euphrasia is primarily used for eye disorders and infections (externally) and for respiratory problems (internally). In the first case, Eughera is used either as a compress or as an ophthalmic wash.
It is particularly effective in cases of ocular infections, conjunctivitis, eye stinging accompanied by secretions (acidic, caustic tears), blepharitis, light hypersensitivity and cataracts.
The anti-inflammatory and anti-bacterial properties of Euphrasia are mainly due to the phenolic-carboxylic acids it contains.
The internal use of Euphrazia (beverage) is thought to effectively relieve nasal discharge, sinusitis, and generally affects positively all congestive conditions of the respiratory system (including those caused by allergies).
Eughrasia can also be used as a mouthwash (rinse or gargle) for inflammation and infections of the mouth and throat.
The tins keep all the active ingredients of the herb, they are very simple to take and absolutely natural. They undoubtedly outweigh pills in the form of pills, as they contain no chemicals and preservatives and are much more efficiently absorbed by the body.
The bottles of botanicals are very active and should therefore be consumed according to their instructions.
The usual dosage is 1ml (about 20 drops a day). They should not be consumed during pregnancy and lactation.
