Herbal Nature Marshmallow (Althaea Officinalis) tincture 50ml - Althaea officinalis tincture

Tinctures are derived from immersing a herb in an alcoholic solution (usually pure alcohol) for a period of 4-6 weeks. During this time, the active ingredients of the herb are dissolved in the alcohol solution resulting in the formation of the cotton. The teas are much more drastic than effusions and infusions.

Althaea officinalis comes from the cultivation of the homonymous plant, which thrives in Europe and West Asia. It has the same properties as the Althea herb.

Modern herbal therapy is used to treat problems of the gastrointestinal tract. Its high content of plant glue (up to 35% in leaves and up to 10% in leaves) allows it to soothe and heal inflammations of the stomach and small intestine. Altha is thought to be particularly effective in ulcers and cases of gastritis and colitis. At the same time, Altha is considered to have a positive effect on the urinary system because, as it follows the food passage, its anti-inflammatory action soothes and heals the urinary tract.

The bottles of botanicals are very active and should therefore be consumed according to their instructions.

The usual dosage is 1ml (about 20 drops a day).

They should not be consumed during pregnancy and lactation.
