Herbal Nature Echinacea (Coneflower) tincture 50ml - Echinacea Tincture

Herbal tinctures come from immersing an herb in an alcoholic solution (usually pure alcohol) for a period of 4-6 weeks. During this time, the active ingredients of the herb are dissolved in the alcoholic solution to form a tincture. Tinctures are much more effective than infusions and decoctions.

Echinacea tincture (Echinacea purpurea) contains the same active ingredients as the dried Echinacea herb. The use of Echinacea is very widespread in the context of modern herbal medicine. Echinacea is mainly used to stimulate the body and strengthen the immune system. Clinical studies have shown that the use of Echinacea has the ability to increase the number of white blood cells in the blood. White blood cells are the body's main "defense" against pathogenic particles entering the human body. Although the beneficial effect of Echinacea is due to a combination of ingredients contained in the plant, recent evidence suggests that polysaccharides are largely responsible for activating the immune system. Polysaccharides are highly concentrated in the aerial parts of the plant and not in the root which is "traditionally" used in various formulations. In Germany only aerial parts of Echinacea purpurea (not Echinacea angustifolia and Echinacea pallida) are approved for the treatment of colds.

Tinctures retain all the active ingredients of the herb, are very simple to take and completely natural. They are undoubtedly superior to dietary supplements in pill form, as they do not contain chemicals and preservatives and are absorbed much more efficiently by the body.

Herbal tinctures are very effective and therefore should be consumed according to their instructions. The usual dosage is 1ml (about 20 drops per day). They should not be consumed during pregnancy and breastfeeding.
