Emulsifying Wax or Polawax is one of the most popular emulsifiers.
Using Emulsifying Wax will allow you to adjust the density of the cosmetics you manufacture. It is usually used in the following proportions:
In lotions at a rate of 2-5%.
In moisturizing creams in a proportion of 5-7%.
In Body Butters at a rate of 10-15%.
Ethereal Emulsifying Wax is pure (Cetearyl Alcohol and PEG20 Stearate), water-soluble (in hot water), has a pH of 5.5-7.0 and a Melting Point at 48-52C.
