1. Nutritional Goals - EpiNeuron The main goals of treating the symptoms of neuropathy, regardless of etiology, are the following: Protecting nervous tissue (before symptoms start) Reduction of symptoms (pain, numbness, tingling, etc.) Speed of repair of nerve tissue damage. Epineuron meets the management needs of patients with neuropathy symptoms at every stage.
Stage A. Protection of nervous tissue Providing B complex vitamins, trace elements magnesium and zinc according to the recommended daily supply, which are proven powerful neurotrophic factors.
Stage B. Reduction of symptoms In the presence of Palmitoleethanolamide (PEA), a powerful analgesic and anti-inflammatory agent, A-lipoic acid and superoxide dismutase (SOD), powerful antioxidant agents.
Stage C. Speed of recovery Complex of vitamins B, A-lipoic, vitamin E, Nicotinamide are elements contained in the composition of Epineuron and favor the faster recovery of nerve tissue.

AT ANY STAGE, Epineuron CAN CONTRIBUTE TO A BETTER OUTCOME, PREVENTIVE RECOVERY.

2. Features of EpiNeuron The content of the elements included in the composition of Epineuron according to the international literature, in terms of activity-safety and especially the complexes of vitamins and trace elements, is in accordance with the recommended daily supply of RDA%. Epineuron tablets are gastro-resistant so that the trophic factors are not destroyed by gastric acids.
The SOD factor in particular is in the form of GLISODIN (wheat biopolymer complex) in order to maintain its structure during the passage through the digestive system and be absorbed in the small intestine. Epineuron is lactose free. Due to the presence of fat-soluble and water-soluble vitamins, it is recommended to be taken with food to maximize absorption.

The 30 tablets contained in the Epineuron package are gastro-resistant, gradual disintegration and sustained release. Epineuron applies a patented technology called "PHYSIORELEASE TECHNOLOGY" and allows once-daily administration.
Epineuron contains palmitoleethanolamide (PEA) micronized & ultramicronized in an ideal ratio in order to penetrate the cell membrane.
Due to the high molecular weight other forms (PEA) are inactive. Epineuron is developed and manufactured in Europe

* Even if an additional dose is needed (2 tablets) they should be taken at the same time.

The B complex of vitamins, especially vitamin B12 and vitamin B6 (pyridoxine), are powerful immune boosters and protect against microbial and viral infections.

The presence of zinc (Zn) further enhances the antimicrobial and antiviral activity.

Vitamin E or α-tocopherol is a fat-soluble vitamin that has an antioxidant effect. This vitamin is lipophilic, so it is particularly useful in protecting membranes from lipid peroxidation. This means that vitamin E acts as a key defense mechanism against oxidation reactions.
Vitamin E is found in cell membranes, where it reacts with reactive oxygen species (free radicals) and inactivates them before they oxidize the unsaturated membrane lipids and destroy their structure. In this way it slows down the destruction of biological membranes and other biomolecules by free radicals.

Role in the immune system and respiratory function

Its role in the cellular defense against oxygen free radicals is decisive as its lack appears to cause oxidative damage to the cells resulting in the appearance of pathological conditions linked to the respiratory function and the immune system (e.g. emphysema, bronchitis).

Vitamin E appears to reduce and even prevent the onset of chronic diseases. Specifically, vitamin E is likely to act as an antioxidant or directly on immune system function, reducing respiratory inflammation. For example, it helps reduce the severity of asthma and even prevent asthma attacks.

Vitamin E appears to have a protective role in allergic bronchial asthma by modulating the activity of macrophages, i.e. cells that abound in the lungs and are involved in the pathogenesis of asthma.
In addition, the daily intake of vitamin E is believed to improve the function of NK cells which contribute to the body's defense against external factors - infections.

Vitamin E also seems to influence the regulation of the maturation of dendritic cells, which are the antigen-presenting cells of the immune system with the aim of locating the site of infection.

Vitamin E has been shown to regulate the activation of T-cells at an early stage, increasing their proliferation. In this way, vitamin E participates in the protection against pathogenic microorganisms and the development of chronic diseases as it stimulates T-cells which are involved in allergic and inflammatory reactions.

Also, daily intake of vitamin E appears to improve the humoral response of B-cells of the immune system to produce antibodies.

Absorption

Vitamin E is absorbed in the small intestine, then it passes to the liver and from there it is transported through the bloodstream to the places where it should act as antioxidants. Most of it is stored in adipose tissue, liver and muscles.

Vitamin E deficiency

Vitamin E deficiency can cause:

Emphysema
Bronchitis
Neurological disorders
Ataxia (impaired balance and coordination)
Peripheral neuropathy
Myopathy
Anemia

Recruitment

In conclusion, daily intake of vitamin E appears to improve lung function and strengthen the immune system. The best way to get your daily vitamin E intake is by taking the EpiNeuron supplement.
