Introduction

Innovative formulation contains two types of magnesium, in a total amount of 200 mg, 25 mg of Veri-Sperse trans Resveratrol and 15 mg of Vitamin B6, per daily dose.

Magnesium

Two types of magnesium are used in FORTIUS MAG + Resveratrol for maximum bioavailability and absorption:

– Magnesium bisglycinate: Chelated form of magnesium that provides the highest levels of absorption and bioavailability and does not cause gastrointestinal side effects e.g. diarrhea, like other forms of magnesium.
In addition, its absorption is not disturbed by other nutrients.[3]

– Magnesium citrate SR: Organic magnesium salt of sustained release, which achieves greater absorption than inorganic.[4]

Resveratrol

In FORTIUS MAG + Resveratrol, Veri-SperseTM trans resveratrol has been used, a form of resveratrol that offers maximum absorption and bioavailability.

The bioavailability of Veri-SperseTM resveratrol is almost twice than that of standard resveratrol at an equal dose, and the maximum concentration (Cmax) is three times higher.[7]
