IBS LACTOLEVURE® is a food for special medical purposes for the dietary management of Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS). It contains a combination of 3 selected lactic acid bacteria strains and vitamin D, with a triple mechanism of action on key elements of IBS pathophysiology: reduction of intestinal permeability, dysbiosis correction and reduction of inflammation and intestinal hypersensitivity. It helps improving quality of life and gut related anxiety. Its efficacy in IBS patients has been proven in clinical trials, results published by Lorenzo-Zuñiga, V., et al. World J Gastroenterology, 2014. 20: 8709-16 and vitamin D deficiency has been repeatedly associated with a higher risk of IBS and lower quality of life in patients with IBS.

DOSAGE – DIRECTIONS FOR USE

Take 1 stick once a day (minimum of 3×109 cfu of Lactobacillus plantarum CECT 7484, Lactobacillus plantarum CECT 7485 and Pediococcus acidilactici CECT 7483). Empty the content of the stick directly into the mouth and swallow. The stick content can also be dissolved in 200 mL of cold water (maximum temperature 30ºC) and be taken immediately. It is recommended to take for a minimum of six weeks.

STORAGE CONDITIONS

Store in a cool and dry place below 25ºC. Keep it away from directly light. Best before date refers to the product correctly stored and in undamaged packaging. Do not freeze. Keep out of reach of youngest children.

It is not recommended the use of the product in case of hypersensitivity to any of the components.
