The active ingredients of garlic belong to a class of sulfate compounds, the most important of which is alliin, which is converted to allicin when garlic is chewed.

Allicin gives garlic its characteristic odor, and is believed to be the compound responsible for the beneficial properties of garlic.

Lamberts Garlic 8250mg contains high-potency garlic tablets that have been specifically formulated to:

ensure the potency of allicin
reduce the odor of garlic by using a special coating on the tablet

Each tablet provides garlic levels equivalent to 8250mg of fresh garlic, with an allicin content of 5500μg.

The garlic used in the preparation of the tablets is significantly closer to the nutritional profile of natural, raw garlic compared to some low-priced garlic products on the market.
