TRIBUTIN is a food intended for specific medical purposes, based
Butyric Acid, Fructose Oligosaccharides (FOS) and Lactic Enzymes
(Bifidobacteria).

The composition of TRIBUTIN is protected by Italian (No.0001395328) and European (No.
2289505) patent.

TRIBUTIN is available in the form of coated, gastro-resistant tablets of controlled
release. The pharmaceutical technology that has been used for its form
controlled release has been designed to guide the three active ingredients
(butyric acid, fructooligosaccharides and bifidobacteria) directly into the fat
intestine, where they can act effectively, contributing to its maintenance
good condition of the epithelial cells of the colon, strengthening it
cell cycle of the intestinal epithelium and promoting the normalization of bowel movements
with consequent reduction of painful symptoms caused by obesity

Properties of ingredients according to the international literature

Butyric Acid: Butyric acid is a short-chain fatty acid found in
in nature as a small component in the fat fraction of milk and
of its derivatives. In humans it is a substance that is normally formed in
large intestine as a consequence of the fermentation of dietary fiber.
It is the main source of energy for the epithelial cells of the colon,
- stimulates their replacement and normal maturation and plays
important "key" role in maintaining the integrity of the mucosa and in
healing process of intestinal lesions,
- activates the reabsorption of water and sodium in the large intestine,
- helps reduce intestinal pH, thus creating an inhospitable
environment for the growth of pathogenic bacteria.
Clinical experience has shown that in patients with cell balance disorders
in the large intestine, and in particular in the ileal portion, the intake of butyric acid
leads to a marked improvement in symptoms such as diarrhea, abdominal pain
and general malaise.

Bifidobacteria: are the most beneficial bacteria found in the large intestine
adults and children. These bacteria decrease with age and
when the state of health begins to decline. The bacterial population
Bifidobacterium Bifidus that colonize the human gut can be destroyed by
many factors related to lifestyle, health and
environmental conditions.
The benefits of taking bifidobacteria are:
1) The prevention of colonization of the intestine by hostile pathogenic bacteria and fungi,
with which bifidobacteria compete for nutrients.
2) The production of acetic acid and lactic acid, which reduce its pH
intestine and therefore make the area inhospitable to other bacteria.
3) The inhibition of bacteria that can convert nitrates from

Fructo-oligosaccharides (FOS): Fructo-oligosaccharides are complex
carbohydrates, i.e. natural sugars in the form of polymers, found in
small quantities on various plants. Along with other starch-type
oligosaccharides such as inulin, fructo-oligosaccharides are almost indigestible.
They are widely used for their "prebiotic" effect, which means that
are the nutrients of various bacterial populations that compose
our intestinal flora.
Fructooligosaccharides enhance the capacity of lactic enzymes
(probiotics) to promote normal intestinal function, especially when
combined with high-utility bacteria such as bifidobacteria. The
fructooligosaccharides, in addition to improving digestion and absorption,
help prevent intestinal disorders such as constipation, colitis or
diarrhea.

Notes: TRIBUTIN tablets should not be chewed or broken.
They are swallowed whole.

Instructions for use: The dosage should be determined by the treating physician,
taking into account the different individual needs of the sufferer. The usual
Dosage is 1 or 2 tablets daily, preferably on an empty stomach.
