Liquid Crystal Multi Base is a concentrated mixture of surfactants with low viscosity, which is used in the preparation of a wide variety of personal care products, such as shampoos, shower gels, liquid soaps for cleaning hands, etc.

The product has excellent clarity, neutral PH, mild odor and neutral color and is designed to be used undiluted. Add fragrance, essential oils, color of your choice, active ingredients, emollients and create your own personal cosmetic product.

If the product needs additional thickening, add a small amount of salt to increase the viscosity of the mixture. To add salt as a solution, dissolve 1 part salt in 2 parts warm water. Parts are determined by weight, (example: 1 oz / 28 g salt to 2 oz / 56 g) water. Add the mixture gradually. Some testing will be needed to determine the correct ratio. Usual usage levels are 3-6% of the total weight of the recipe.
