The vaginal flora consists mainly of lactobacilli and overall contributes to maintaining the proper balance of the vaginal environment (maintaining a normal pH between 3.8 and 4.5). The microflora of the vagina inhibits the growth of pathogens by various mechanisms, such as the production of organic acids and in particular lactic acid, the production of bacteriocins and the production of hydrogen peroxide.

Intimeo® is a dietary supplement in capsule form.

Each Intimeo® capsule contains at least 2.5 billion live lactobacilli strains:

1. L. crispatus LBV88 (DSM 22566)
2. L. rhamnosus LBV96 (DSM 22560)
3. L. gasseri LBV150 (DSM 22583)
4. L. jensenii LBV116 (DSM 22567)

Recommended daily dosage:

2 capsules daily together, preferably before meals.

RECOMMENDED USE
On concomitant administration, be administered 2 hours after the antibiotic.
