What are Medistus® Antivirus lozenge
Medistus® Antivirus lozenge is a Class IIa CE 0481 Medical Device, with a complex active ingredient containing plant-based substances. Kistosyn® 200 distillate forms through its natural active substances a protective filter on the oral and pharynx mucosa. This protective barrier leads to a natural (mechanical) protection against viruses and bacteria that cause respiratory infections, which helps to prevent their penetration into the cells of the body and their further spread.

Kistosyn® 200 distillate, through its natural active substances, helps to block the function of the oral and pharynx mucosa by creating a natural filter in it. As a result, external irritations can be significantly reduced. In addition, Kistosyn® 200 distillate helps to protect the oral mucosa from inflammation and therefore cough and dry cough. Because of this natural effect, it is not possible to develop durability. Efficacy and safety have been tested in accordance with the European Medical Devices Directive (93/42 / EEC).

Dosage instructions, type and duration of application
When, how often and for how long will Medistus® Antivirus be applied

For protection against increased risk of infection of the airways of viral and bacterial origin.
Even at the first signs of scratching the throat.
Adults: Dissolve a lozenge slowly in the mouth 3 to 6 times a day.
Children older than 12 years (and at least 25 kg): dissolve a lozenge slowly in the mouth 3 times a day.
Children older than 6 years: dissolve a lozenge slowly in the mouth once a day.
Lozenges can cause a choking hazard for young children when they cannot be dissolved in the mouth. Please pay special attention to small children. If you take oral medicines, please allow a 4 hour break in between. If no improvement occurs within 2-3 days after starting treatment or symptoms worsen (such as if fever exceeds 38 ° C), please consult a physician.
