Magnesium (Chelated magnesium) is a cofactor for more than 300 enzyme processes within the human body. At least half of the body’s Magnesium is in the bones with the remainder in the red blood cells, muscles and other soft tissue. Magnesium is involved in many functions including muscle contraction and nerve function in which it works in tandem with Calcium. It is also very important in relation to heart health, energy production and the functioning of the digestive system.
