How to distinguish the genuine Ceylon cinnamon from cassia (simple)?
The cassia is darker, red-brown while the genuine Ceylon cinnamon has a light brown color, also cassia sticks are thick and hard while Ceylon cinnamon sticks are thin and fragile and have a sweeter, more delicate flavor stronger.
