Hamilton Stingose Spray for mosquito bites 25ml - Minimizes the symptoms from skin allergic reactions
INGREDIENTS : Aqua (Water), aluminium sulphate, sodium laureth sulfate.
ACTION : The known and registered poisons from insects and sea creatures are mainly protein in nature (1). The ability of Aluminum Sulphate to deconstruct proteins is sufficiently proven (2-7).It is established is not only limited to changing the protein structure but is extended to eliminate non protein irritating toxic substances that can be found in different plants (8,9). It is scientifically accepted that high concentration of Aluminum ions on the skin causes osmotic movement of liquids towards the its surface (11).
INDICATIONS : Minimizes the symptoms from skin allergic reactions.· Bites from insects and small animals (wasps, bees, mosquitoes, spiders, scorpions e.t.c.).
· Contact to irritating sea creatures (jellyfish, sea anemones, prickling fish e.t.c.).
· Contact to irritating plants (nettles e.t.c.).
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE (SHAKE WELL BEFORE USE): Immediately after the bite, spray liberally. Repeat as often as needed or until fully relieved. In serious cases, seek medical assistance.PRECAUTIONS : Keep Stingose spray away from the eyes. If it comes in contact with the eyes, wash immediately with water. In pharmacology there is no reference to toxicity about Aluminum Sulphate (3, 6, 12).
INTERACTIONS : If the affected area is previously treted with ethyl or methyl alcohol, the effectiveness of Stingose spray will be considerably reduced. The antidotes are not affected by previously using Stingose spray. Consequently after using Stingose spray, other medical treatments may be applied as well.CONTRADICTIONS: In patients with sensitivity to Aluminum ions, the use of Stingose spray should be limited. Aluminium Sulphate is known for its astringent action 2). In people with extreme sensitivity, temporary limited skin reactions may occur very rarely.
