Physiological action: Contributes to normal blood calcium levels and to the maintenance of normal bones and normal teeth. Pure D3 contains vitamin D3 (cholecalciferol), an ingredient with a physiological and nutritional role.

Vitamin D3 mostly maintains normal blood calcium levels by increasing calcium absorption from the intestine and decreasing its renal excretion, thus vitamin D3 contributes to the maintenance of bone mass and of calcium-phosphorus homeostasis.
