Herbal Nature Thyme (Thymus Vulgaris) Tincture 50ml - Thyme Tincture

The tincture of herbs from the immersion of a herb in an alcoholic solution (usually pure alcohol), for a period of 4-6 weeks. During this time, the active ingredients of the herb is dissolved in the alcoholic solution thus creating the tincture. The essences are much more effective than and spills of beverages.

According to study leader Dr. Margarita Gomez-Escalada, tincture of thyme was more effective against the bacteria that causes acne (Propionibacterium acnes) from the substance benzoyl peroxide, which is the main active ingredient of pharmaceutical creams on the market.

Surveys conducted in guinea pigs in Serbia from Belgrade University, showed that the tincture of thyme may be effective against the occurrence of high blood pressure.

The tincture of thyme are believed to protect the body from bacterial infections from eating unhealthy food. According to a study published in Food Science and Technology International, tincture of thyme appears to be particularly effective against Staphylococcus bacteria, Enterococcus, Escherichia and Pseudomonas genera. Even in strains of bacteria that are highly resistant to antibiotics, tincture of thyme showed impressive results.

The essences of herbs is very reactive and therefore must be consumed in accordance with their instructions. The usual dosage is 1ml (about 20 drops per day). They should not be consumed during pregnancy and lactation.
