The essential oil of the turmeric contains curcumin and felandrini substances which impart antiseptic. The essential oil of the turmeric used in aromatherapy mainly as an antiseptic, anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, anti-acne, hair growth on female face for bruises and arthritis. The essential oil of the turmeric is combined very well with ginger, ylang-ylang and verbena.
