Doctor's Formulas R-Alpha Lipoic Acid 250mg 300ml - Liposomal Formula with R-Alpha Lipoic Acid

R-Alpha Lipoic Acid 250mcg Dietary Supplement, Liposomal Formula with R-Alpha Lipoic Acid 300ml oral solution

8 TIMES GREATER ABSORPTION AND BIOAVAILABILITY OF ACTIVE SUBSTANCES AND VITAMINS

R-ALPHA LIPOIC ACID Liposomal Formula is a dietary supplement containing R-Alpha Lipoic Acid.

Liposomal formulation technology results in greater absorption and bioavailability of active substances and vitamins.

Doctor's Formulas R-Alpha Lipoic Acid 250mg dietary supplement contains R-Alpha Lipoic Acid, a special and very effective antioxidant, in the form of an oral solution.

Properties & actions of R-Alpha Lipoic Acid:

It is a compound that contains sulfur in the form of two thiol groups and acts as a cofactor for several mitochondrial enzymes, catalyzing the α-keto acid. It resembles a vitamin, but belongs to the category of antioxidants. It is synthesized endogenously in the body and binds to proteins.

The antioxidant properties of lipoic acid vary:

it exhibits chelating activity for iron (Fe) and copper (Cu), preventing neurodegenerative diseases related to heavy metal-induced oxidative stress.

it has the ability to directly neutralize ROS and the potential to react with other antioxidants, such as glutathione, coenzyme Q10 and vitamins E and C, contributing to their regeneration and improving their antioxidant activity.
It also exhibits anti-inflammatory properties. Therefore, it is used in various diseases that depend on oxidative stress.
It is particularly effective in cardiovascular diseases, including ischemic heart disease, hypertension, heart failure, and atherosclerosis
It can slow down aging, resulting in a longer lifespan.
It improves blood flow and enhances the function of the immune system.
Many studies have confirmed that lipoic acid improves vascular function and reduces the burden of atherosclerotic plaque. It acts as an active chelating agent for transition metal ions, redox, preventing lipid peroxidation in mitochondria.
reacts with ROS, such as superoxide anions, normalizes NADPH oxidase activity, and may prevent angiotensin II-induced macrophage, monocyte, and T cell infiltration.
It is also thought to block AT1 receptors, improving endothelial function and reducing plaque area in atherosclerosis.
Many clinical studies have shown that the beneficial effects of lipoic acid are to reduce inflammatory responses mediated by NF-κB by regulating the expression of genes and pro-inflammatory adhesion molecules.
It can also prevent LDL oxidation by reducing LDL-C, LDL-C, total cholesterol, and lipoprotein (a) concentrations as well as other oxidative biomarkers.
Clinical studies confirm that it can also reduce aortic adhesion molecule expression and aortic macrophage and proinflammatory cytokine accumulation, resulting in reduced LDL and triglyceride levels and increased HDL. It can also initiate the synthesis of the LDL receptor in the liver, resulting in increased cholesterol delivery to the hepatic system and increased synthesis of apoprotein, a component for reverse cholesterol transport. In conclusion, it has a direct effect on lipid formation and an indirect effect on blood lipid levels, leading to a reduced risk of atherosclerosis.
has a beneficial effect on the prevention of the development of hypertension, lowering the level of inflammatory cytokines in the blood plasma, thereby preventing these pathological changes in cells and normalizing changes in blood pressure.
Several clinical studies have shown that it inhibits the vascular overproduction of endothelin I, the main vasoconstrictor. In addition, it significantly increases the synthesis of NO, the main vasodilator, can also improve the redox state of the plasma and improve endothelium-dependent vasodilation mediated by NO. In addition, it improves the loss of eNOS phosphorylation, which contributes to the improvement of endothelial function. It is also known to inhibit the activation of TNF-alpha. Because it is a good chelating agent and can inhibit the production of adhesion molecules by monocytes, thus improving endothelial function.
Finally, glucose (i.e. blood sugar), is converted into energy by Alpha Lipoic Acid, even glucose metabolism is improved, resulting in a better response of the diabetic patient to insulin. There is also evidence that it can improve the function and conduction of neurons in diabetes.
