Qualitative characteristics of Curcumin Triplex

We chose Curcumin C3 Complex®, which is not a simple turmeric extract, but a patented extract from the Indian company Sabinsa, which holds a leading position in the field of botanical extracts.

Curcumin Triplex is characterized by:

– High Curcuminoid Content: Of the total 500 mg, 475 mg correspond to curcuminoids (95% of the total amount). The extract does not consist exclusively of curcumin, but also contains other forms such as di-methoxy-curcumin and Bis-di-methoxy-curcumin.

– Higher absorption compared to a common turmeric extract: It is more soluble due to the presence of Bis-di-methoxy-curcumin, which means that it is better absorbed by the gastrointestinal system. In addition, each capsule contains 5 mg of the patented BioPerine® extract from black pepper fruits, which, with a piperine content of 95-98%, enhances the natural absorption of the product.

– Safety: The product has undergone a thorough safety and toxicology assessment, considered safe (GRAS).

It is worth noting that the curcumin content is equivalent to 16,000 mg of turmeric powder!!!

What are the benefits of curcumin?

Turmeric Curcuma longa Linn. (C. longa) has been used in traditional Ayurvedic medicine and by Muslim cultures in South Asia. The pharmacological properties of turmeric are mainly due to curcumin, a polyphenol found in turmeric and characterized by its anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties. In addition, the supplemental intake of curcumin from turmeric extract has been associated with improved athletic performance, reducing exercise-induced muscle damage in high-intensity exercisers. In particular, high-intensity exercise, among other things, leads to an increase in markers of muscle injury, such as creatine kinase. Supplementation has been associated with reduced serum creatine kinase in high-intensity exercisers.*

In addition, turmeric has been traditionally used to relieve digestive disorders, such as a feeling of fullness, slow digestion and flatulence.**

Curcuminoids, the active substances of turmeric, are poorly absorbed by the body. That is why we chose the patented extract Curcumin C3 Complex® from Sabinsa, which stands out due to its high curcuminoid content and increased bioavailability compared to common turmeric extracts. Each capsule also contains 5 mg of BioPerine® (black pepper extract with 95-98% piperine), which further enhances the absorption and action of the product.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION: The product has not been irradiated, has not been used Ethylene Oxide (ETO), has been tested for pathogenic microorganisms (TSE/BSE free).
