Carnitine is a non-essential amino acid that is synthesized in the body from Lysine. Carnitine's most well-known metabolic function is the transport of long-chain fatty acids to the mitochondria of muscle cells, (including those of the myocardium), for oxidation.
Each capsule provides 500mg of free form Carnitine (which is provided by 735mg of L-Carnitine Tartrate) for maximum absorption and bioavailability. Like all Lamberts products it is manufactured in the UK to strict Pharmaceutical GMP standards

Encapsulation: L-Carnitine Tartrate, Capsule Shell (Hydroxypropyl Methylcellulose), Anti-Caking Agents (Magnesium Stearate & Silicon Dioxide).

Assimilation time: Less than 30 minutes.

Dosage: 1 capsule daily, with juice or water rather than milk. Amino acids are best absorbed when taken half an hour before eating or sleeping. Do not exceed the recommended daily dosage.
