Organic Almond Oil:

The organic Almond Oil in KORRES formulas is prepared by cold pressing organic almonds [fruits of the Prunus amygdalus dulcis tree] in which the brown, thin skin on their outside has been preserved. This process leads to the production of a superior quality oil in terms of concentration of active ingredients [compared to the corresponding oil derived from fruits in which the brown skin has been removed], as according to bibliographic data, confirmed by laboratory studies, the oxidative stability of Almond Oil is attributed to the high content of α-tocopherol. The oil resulting from the final processing has quality characteristics in accordance with international specifications, for example based on the content of oleic acid and α-tocopherol. KORRES Organic Almond Oil has been measured for its oxidative stability using the Rancimat method [a method used to test the antioxidant potential of an oil], demonstrating the high antioxidant protection it offers.
