Pro-Daily orthomolecular probiotic formula contains the powerful friendly bacteria Bacillus coagulans (formerly sporogenes) combined with prebiotic FOS (fructo-oligosaccharides), which keep the gut flora in balance by controlling harmful bacteria and pathogens.
Unlike other probiotic bacteria, Bacillus coagulans is resistant to stomach acid due to its spore form, slightly increases acidity in the gut, inhibits the growth and proliferation of pathogens, and is not easily destroyed by antibiotics (2-8 times more resistant than endemic bacteria).
Combining the probiotic formula with prebiotic FOS – the food of probiotics – increases the growth and activity of probiotics in the gut.
Adults: 1 tablet up to 3 times a day with meals or as recommended by a physician - consultant O.D.I.
Children over 8 years: 1 tablet up to 2 times a day with meals.
1 tablet provides Bacillus coagulans 10mg (at the time of production each tablet contains 150 million, the active dose determined by clinical research, in a natural base that includes nutrients that promote the proliferation of L(+) lactobacilli in the gut) , FOS (fructo-oligosaccharides) 100mg.
Excipients: bulking agent: microcrystalline cellulose, maize maltodextrin, coating: hydroxypropyl methylcellulose (glycerine), anti-caking agents: magnesium stearate (vegetarian), silicon dioxide.
Does not contain: soy, sugar, wheat, gluten, yeast, lactose, salt, starch, dairy, artificial preservatives, colors or flavors.
