Hangzhou Alltest Fecal Occult Blood(FOB) Rapid Self Test 1.piece - Fecal occult blood test

All Test Fecal Occult Blood(FOB) Rapid Self Test

Many diseases can cause occult bleeding in the stool.

This is known as fecal occult blood (FOB), human occult blood, or human hemoglobin.

In the early stages, gastrointestinal problems such as colon cancer, ulcers, polyps, colitis, diverticulitis, and fissures may not show visible symptoms but only occult blood.

Traditional guaiac methods lack sensitivity and specificity and also require dietary restrictions before testing.

The FOB (Fecal Occult Blood) Rapid Test Cassette TFO-602H from ALL TEST (Hangzhou Biotech) is a rapid test suitable for the qualitative determination of low levels of fecal occult blood (rapid chromatographic immunoassay for the qualitative determination of human fecal occult blood).

It is simple and easy to use and provides reliable results in just five minutes.

Occult blood in the stool may indicate colon cancer or polyps in the colon or rectum.

Early detection of signs of bowel disease can be very important, most cases of blood in the stool are not a cause for concern, but should always be checked by your doctor.

Home test kits for blood in the stool, while around 95% of all cases of bowel cancer (colon and rectum) are related to benign precursors, called polyps.

As these often have no symptoms, they often go unnoticed until cancer develops.

Bowel cancer is one of the few where the development of tumors can be prevented with early intervention.

The bowel test kit looks for the presence of small amounts of blood in the stool as an indicator of polyps (and other bowel conditions).

Symptoms of bowel cancer include:

A persistent change in your bowel habits, diarrhea or constipation, or a change in the consistency of your stool.
Bleeding from the rectum or blood in your stool.
Persistent abdominal complaints.
Unexplained weight loss.
Weakness or fatigue.
Features:
FOB rapid test cassette (rapid chromatographic immunoassay) for the qualitative determination of human fecal occult blood.
Easy to use, with readable and reliable results (proven accuracy of 99.1%) in just five minutes.
Uses a two-antibody “sandwich” assay for the selective detection of fecal occult blood at 50ng per ml (or more or 6μg per gr) of stool.
Its accuracy is not related to the patient’s diet (unlike guaiac methods).
CE marked product, ideal for self-testing at home (for “in vitro” diagnostic use).
Package including test cassette, stool device, sample collection tube and use insert.

Use (“in vitro” diagnostic use):

Before testing, wait until the specimen and swab reach room temperature (15°C to 30°C).
To collect stool specimens: Place the stool specimen in the appropriate container. Use the stool collector to avoid contaminating the specimen with any type of chemical product, so that the specimen is not adulterated.
Processing stool specimens: Unscrew the cap of the specimen collection tube. Then, randomly stick the specimen collection applicator in at least three different locations on the stool specimen (do not dig into the stool specimen).
Screw and tighten the cap onto the specimen collection tube. Then, shake vigorously to mix the specimen and extraction buffer.
Bring the pouch to room temperature before opening: Remove the test cassette from the pouch. Use as soon as possible.
For best results, perform the test immediately after opening the foil pouch.
Hold the sample collection tube upright and open the cap: Invert the sample collection tube. Transfer two drops of the extracted specimen (approximately 80mcL) to the “S” sample well of the test cassette. Then start the timer.
Avoid trapping air bubbles in the “S” sample well.
Read the result: After five minutes (do not read results after ten minutes).

Interpretation of results:

Positive: Two lines, one colored line in the “C” control line region, and another should be visible in the “T” test line region.
Note: The intensity of the color in the “T” test line region will vary depending on the concentration of fecal occult blood present in the specimen.
Therefore, any color in the “T” test line region is indicative of a positive result.
Negative: Only one colored line in the “C” control line region (no line in the “T” test line region).
Invalid: No control line appears

1 test.
