Mica colors are natural pigments derived from minerals, which are purified and then crushed into a very fine powder. They come from all over the world and have many different uses.

Mica Deep Ocean Blue is a deep, dark, mysterious blue with violet undertones. Of the blues in the Mica series, it is the second darkest blue. Gives medium to high coverage and medium shimmer. The color Deep Ocean Blue is suitable for all cosmetics (Face, Eyes, Nails, Lips). The grain size ranges between 10-60 microns.

The Mica colors you will find with us are completely free of synthetic pigments (FD&C, D&C, Lake Pigments, Carmine). They are all approved by the EU. (EU & FDA approved) for cosmetic use.

Mica colors can be added to nail polishes, eye shadows, lipsticks and lip balms and of course soaps. They do not spread in the soap (bleeding) and show great stability.

When used in soaps, Mica colors are usually placed at a ratio of 2.5-5.0g per kilogram of white soap mass (Melt & Pour) or at a ratio of 1.5-2.0g per kilogram of clear soap mass to achieve "bright" and bright shades. In olive oil soaps (cold method) Mica colors are usually used in a proportion of 5.0-10.0g per kilogram of soap. They are added to the mixture of oils and require good mixing in order to be incorporated and brought out.

In nail polishes, about 2.0g of Mica color is usually added to any clear polish. In the case of eye shadows, about 2.5g of Mica color is added to a 12.5g base (e.g. Titanium Dioxide 5.0g, Micca Matte 2.5g, Magnesium Stearate 2.5g and White Clay 2.5g).

Mica paints are non-toxic and can even be used on children (Halloween paints). They can give color and shine to emulsions and powders. All Mica colors can be mixed together to achieve impressive shades.
