The combination of moisturizing and absorbent properties (1) promotes the normal autolytic cleansing of necrosis and the liquid healing method (2).

Easy application

The application device ensures controlled, easy and aseptic application with the use of only one hand. The gel can be removed with saline.

Minimizes leakage and damage from wetting

The viscous texture of the gel makes it easier to stay in place. Even after absorbing residue and exudate, the gel remains cohesive, preventing leakage and wetting.

Action mechanism

Purilon® Hydrogel moisturizes the necrotic tissue and absorbs the excess exudate and the remnants of non-viable and necrotic tissues of the ulcer.

Composition

Purilon® Hydrogel consists of pure water, sodium carboxymethylcellulose and calcium alginate. Purilon® is an extremely mild product, as the gel consists of natural ingredients, without any additives.

Use

Purilon® gel is suitable for dry and necrotic ulcers, as well as for ulcers that coexist with necrotic and granular tissue, such as foot ulcers, bed sores, diabetic foot ulcers without infection, and can be used for 1st and 2nd degree burns. The gel can be used throughout the healing process, providing a moist healing environment. Purilon® gel should be used in conjunction with a secondary patch.
