Important: The FreeStyle Libre 2 Plus sensor in the FreeStyle Libre 2 Glucose Monitoring System with Flash technology, when used with the FreeStyle LibreLink app or the FreeStyle Libre 2 reader, is indicated for monitoring interstitial fluid glucose in people with diabetes mellitus (ages 2 and up), including pregnant women. The sensor and app are designed to replace blood glucose testing for diabetes self-management, including calculating insulin dosage.

Indication of the system in children (2-12 years) is limited to those supervised by a caregiver who is at least 18 years of age. The caregiver is responsible for administering or assisting the child in administering the app and sensor, and for interpreting or assisting the child in interpreting sensor glucose data.
