Description - mode of action

Boldo is an herbal stimulant for the gallbladder and liver.
Artichoke flowers are a common cabbage, but the rest of the plant has excellent properties as a phytotherapy herb. Two components of artichoke, quinarin and scolymoside, have been shown to stimulate bile secretion, which is in line with its traditional use in treating incomplete digestion.
Cynarin has been shown to lower blood cholesterol and triglyceride levels.
Artichoke can protect the liver from the harmful effects of alcohol while helping to metabolize fatty foods.

Components

Tincture of: fresh artichoke leaves (Cynara scolymus *), fresh herbs and horseradish root (Taraxacum officinalis *), bulldog leaves (Pneumus boldus) and fresh mint leaves (Mentha piperita *). Alcohol content: 62% (w / v).

Adults: 15-20 drops in a little water, 3 times a day, after meals.
