Ethereal Nature Clary Sage 10ml - Herbal essential oil
The herb (Clary Sage), scientifically named Salvia Sclarea, a member of the common sage family (Salvia officinalis), is a tall biennial or perennial herb, 30 - 120cm tall, with hairy heart-shaped leaves and numerous light blue, pink or white which grows throughout the European continent either in the wild or in cultivated form.
Its essential oil is extracted by steam distillation from the tops of the flowers and leaves of the plant and in contrast to the essential oil of common sage, which due to its high content of thujone (strong toxic ketone) has significant limitations in use, herb oil is completely safe in regular doses. It is characterized by sweet, musky, leafy high notes and a fruity almost floral undertone. Combines perfectly with citrus essential oils, as well as with Lavender, Frankincense, Jasmine, Cedar.
