Bottles and containers made of PP (Polypropylene) have many advantages when it comes to cosmetic packaging.
PP is known to be highly resistant to high temperatures (up to 104C). This is especially useful when the cosmetics to be packaged are hot. PP exhibits excellent moisture resistance. It is almost impossible for moisture to enter or leave a PP bottle or container. PP packages can therefore be sterilized without the use of steam.
PP packaging is extremely resistant to contact with chemicals and essential oils and is not corroded by them. Thus PP is used for the packaging of corrosive chemicals such as bleach, hydrochloric acid, detergents and so on.
The 300ml Bottle has a height of 17.0cm (with the lid secured). Its sides have a length of 5.4 cm (useful area for a label 4.3 cm) and 4.5 cm respectively. It is "milky" with a transparent Flip Top type lid and can be used for many applications such as e.g. for shampoos and conditioners, for massage oils, for body lotions and so on. The opening of the bottle (upper part) is 2.1cm in diameter. The Flip Top cap acts as a dimmer to restrict the flow of cosmetics.
