Ethereal Nature Rosemary extract (Rosmarinus officinalis) 50ml

Rosemary extract is derived from the processing of plant Rosemarinus officinalis (source wiki). Essentially used the dried leaves of the herb which are extracted in sunflower oil.

The rosemary extract has a very strong antioxidant properties and is used as a natural preservative to prolong the life of the cosmetic. They combine well with all natural oils and cosmetic butters.

The rosemary extract is completely harmless for human skin. The European Authority for Food Safety (EFSA), has provided since 2008 the "green light" for the use of the extract as food preservative.

The antioxidant activity of the extract is based on two main constituents (Carnosic acid and carnosol) which not only protect the base material, but have proven to effectively preserve the color, aroma and taste of the products.

To rosemary extract Ethereal is very concentrated, and therefore the proposed involvement in cosmetic products is only 0.5% - 1.0%. When handling should avoid direct contact with the skin, eyes and mouth (rinse thoroughly with plenty of soap and water when touched).

The use of rosemary extract will "extend" the life of your homemade cosmetics in about 4-6 months. The rosemary extract and antioxidants are not antibacterial. We therefore see the properties of conservative Germall® Plus kaiOptiphen®.
