WinMedica Retoral Psyllium and PEG for constipation 12 sachets - treatment of chronic or occasional constipation

Retoral® is a new medical device containing 2 active ingredients, psyllium and polyethylene glycol.

Psyllium is a natural product derived from a plant of the genus plantago. It is chemically inactive, is not absorbed by the gastrointestinal system and has the capacity to absorb water forming a gelatinous mass that increases the volume of the intestinal content and stimulates the peristalsis of the intestine in a natural way.

In addition, polyethylene glycol, which is not absorbed by the body and is not metabolized by the intestinal flora, absorbs water through osmosis, enhancing the action of the flea.

Retoral® thanks to the synergistic action of its two components swells and softens the intestinal content, facilitating its passage through the intestinal lumen.

Retoral® is suitable for

the treatment of chronic or occasional constipation
cases requiring an easier emptying such as hemorrhoids, stretch marks, or after surgical procedures.
Retoral® is available in powder form in a pack containing 12 sachets. Empty the contents of the sachet in a glass of water and mix thoroughly before taking it.

Retoral® has a pleasant taste

Adults :

2-3 doses per day (1 sachet every 12 or 8 hours respectively)

Children 6-12 years old

1 sachet per day.

During treatment, it is recommended to take an appropriate amount (6-8 glasses of water).

The product should be taken 2 hours before or after taking other medicines because when given with other oral medicines it can reduce their absorption.
