BioSilver is an aerosolized medical device that, thanks to its properties, acts as a protective barrier, preventing skin lesions, especially exudative wounds, and helping to restore conditions that promote normal skin regeneration. Thanks to its components, BioSilver helps prevent infections in wounds, leg ulcers and pressure ulcers or small incisions. The protective barrier is created by the combination of kaolin and hyaluronic acid, each of which exerts a certain action: Kaolin acts as a sorbent in cases of exudative wounds. Hyaluronic acid, due to its ability to absorb hydrophilic molecules, forms a moisturizing film on the wound. The complex of titanium dioxide, silver ions and benzalkonium, which is incorporated into the barrier formed by kaolin and hyaluronic acid, ensures that the barrier is resistant to pathogen attack by microbes, helping to protect the wound.
