Fractionated Coconut Oil is a light oil with special characteristics derived from the Cocos Nucifera plant. It is much superior to the simple coconut oil (from the unleavened). It is used for massage (usually with almond oil) but also as bath oil or natural antiseptic. It helps to restore the natural pH of the skin and does not clog the pores. Contains vitamins A, B, E and minerals such as phosphorus, magnesium, calcium and iron. Although it is compatible for each type of skin because it is closest to human subcutaneous tissue, it is usually used in oily skin.
Coconut oil is an ideal ingredient for facial and hair cosmetics, lip balms, body butters and natural soaps (to which it adds foam and hardness to the finished product). Use the same or in combination with essential oils.
