Elastin is a protein found in connective tissues which is responsible for the elasticity of the epidermis. When, for example, a point of the epidermis is pressed inwards, elastin is the one that takes care of the skin to return to its original position. Over the years, elastin has been significantly reduced in the human body. The most obvious result of its lack is the appearance of wrinkles, loosening and "bagging" of the epidermis.

Marine Elastin is located on specific fish species (Katsuwonus pelamis, Seriola quinqueradiata, Thunnus thynnus, Salmo salar) and is extracted from them by the enzymatic hydrolysis method. In the modern cosmetics industry it is used as a powerful anti-aging, anti-wrinkle and moisturizing ingredient. Rich in amino acids, elastin is nowadays one of the "secrets of youth". It helps to maintain the elasticity and firmness of the skin and the hair. You will find Sea Elastin in many "innovative" cosmetic products.

The elastin that we provide is processed (1% dissolved in distilled water), completely odorless and clear. It can be used on the face (5-6 drops before the evening facial hydration). It can be used in moisturizing creams (water phase), shampoos, hair softeners, facial cleansing soaps, and so on. as a valuable anti-aging, hydrating agent and as an elasticity enhancer. In this case, it is usually used at 2-3%.

It is manufactured in Italy under the strictest European specifications. It is completely clean, free from chemicals and impurities.
