Details

Laurel (Bay Leaf) derived from the plant with the common name Pimenta racemosa. The laurel essential oil obtained by steam distillation of the leaves and has a strong pungent smell characteristic.

The essential oil of laurel is used in aromatherapy for arthritis, insomnia, dermatitis, as insect repellent, heating, antiseptic, aphrodisiac and tonic. Also for bruises, wounds, bruises, rheumatism, hair loss and enhancing concentration.

The essential oil of laurel combines very well with: Bergamot, Virginian Cedarwood, Eucalyptus, Fennel, Ginger, Orange, Patchouli, Rosemary, Ylang-ylang.
