Version C 35% Anti-Oxidant Serum 30ml - revolutionary serum in anti aging skin care

VERSION C 35& is a revolutionary serum in anti aging skin care, the only product with such a high percentage of stabilized Vitamin C (Ascorbic Acid).

This highly concentrated serum combines skin-firming ingredients with anti-wrinkle agents to help achieve firmer, wrinkle-defiant skin.
It helps to deter the onset of lines and wrinkles, while minimizing their appearance when they do appear.
By simultaneously addressing both skin firmness and wrinkle prevention, it combats the full gamut of signs of premature aging, tones and tightens the skin, and invigorates its youthful elasticity and suppleness.

Ideal for women aged ± 50, also in premature photoaged skin and skin with deep wrinkles.

  • Boosts collagen production by offering a smooth radiant skin.
  • Minimizes fine lines and wrinkles.
  • Helps facial contour look and feel smoother, firmer and more youthful.
  • Protects from UVA and UVD radiation.
  • Prevents the immunosupresion induced by UV radiation damage as well as DNA mutations.
  • Contributes to the improvement of inflammation and erythema caused by sunburns.
  • Accelerates wound healing.
  • Protects from free radicals induced damage.
  • Possesses antioxidant agents and is recommended for all skin types.
  • Contributes to the increase of blood circulation in the skin and oxygen consumption (reducing the possibility of euryalee).
  • Inhibits the creation of toxic oxygen radicals, stimulates the immune system of skin (protecting skin from environmental pollutants).
  • Improves the elasticity and the tone of skin.

Application
Apply the serum by light massage to face and neck.
Daily recommended used, mostly at night, on cleansed skin.
During the first applications, VERSION C 35% can provoke a light sense of stinging. You do not have to worry about it.

Ingredients - Action

THE ROLE OF VITAMIN C [Ascorbic Acid] REGARDING SKIN

Vitamin C is necessary for the protection of skin from the negative effects of the oxidant factors. The only particle that the body can recognize and use is the Ascorbic Acid. However, the body does not compose Ascorbic Acid but has to take it from nutrition.
The control mechanisms of the body limit the quantity of Vitamin C that can be administered orally. The topical anti-oxidant treatment facilitates considerably the direct penetration of Vitamin C into the skin. By adding the ascorbic acid in a stable, acid aqueous solution, the latter is not ionized and passes to the skin in a much higher concentration in comparison to the one that is possible when Vitamin C is administered orally.
In order to be completely active, topical Vitamin C must first penetrate the skin and then stay there in a considerably high concentration to produce a biological impact. Researches up to date have shown that the answer to the question is Ascorbic acid in a high concentration (greater than 15%) and low pH (less than 3).
Topical vitamin C, under the form of acid pH, can be administered and absorbed directly from the skin in order to provide pharmacological protection levels. It becomes an integral part of the skin and is not influenced by water, gymnastic, clothes or makeup. The benefits of topical vitamin C (Ascorbic acid) regarding skin include:

  • Topical Vitamin C Protects Against UV Radiation.
Topical vitamin C protects skin from the whole range of ultraviolet radiation by neutralizing some kinds of active oxygen of free radicals before these damage and destroy DNA and other constituents of the skin.
  • Topical Vitamin C Prevents UV Immunosuppression and DNA Mutations
Topical vitamin C prevents UV immunosuppression. This phenomenon, in which the activity of the immune system is stifled following exposure to sunlight, occurs in approximately one-third of individuals. However, it is observed to 90% of persons suffering from skin cancers, both melanomas and fibromas. Sun-blocks do not prevent the immunosuppression from ultraviolet radiation, while in the contrary, topical vitamin C does.
  • Topical Vitamin C Stimulates Collagen Synthesis.
Vitamin C is the only antioxidant, which has been proven to increase collagen synthesis. This is very important because of the fact that the forms of active oxygen destroy the constituents of skin including collagen that constitutes 80% of dermis.
  • Topical Vitamin C Controls Inflammation and Reduces Erythema.
Topical treatment with vitamin C can control the inflammatory reaction relating to ultraviolet light including sunburns. Topical vitamin C is protective even when it is applied after sun exposure.
  • Topical Vitamin C Promotes Wound Healing.
Topical vitamin C contributes to the acceleration of the healing process and is recommended as preoperative and postoperative treatment for patients that have undergone skin smoothing by means of laser.

VERSION C35% ANTI-OXIDANT SERUM Stabilized Ascorbic Acid
This product offers the highest concentration, 35% of Ascorbic Acid (Vitamin C). It is an anti-ageing skin care serum with a stabilized form of Vitamin C in Glycospheres and has acid pH [pH 2,4]. The Glycospheres protect Vitamin C from being oxidized. In addition, it allows the penetration of the Ascorbic Acid to the deeper layers of the skin, in a concentration of 20-40 times larger than this that one can intake by means of nutrition or tablets. Because of their resistant central cores, they are extremely stable even under difficult physicochemical conditions, i.e. in the presence of surfactants.
Their life duration is long both in a suspension and in standard stable forms. The entrapped active constituents are guided in the best possible way in order to reach the target: the skin. The Glycospheres present a limited redistribution that does not change with the course of time, even after five years. They are also very resistant to prolonged heating in an aqueous form, in temperatures above 80 C.
Thanks to its composition, VERSION C 35%, passes through the upper stratum corneum layers into the lower dermis where new skin cells begin their long migration to the outer surface that we expose daily to the harsh conditions of our environment. The lasting results are immediately visible as the older cells are replaced within a period of 4 to 8 weeks.
