L -Methionine is a sulphur-containing amino acid with antioxidant properties. L-Methionine is important for healthy nails and skin and for the synthesis of Taurine, L-Cysteine, Phosphatidylcholine (Lecithin), bile, L-Carnitine and endorphins. L Methionine also has lipotropic abilities contributing to liver detoxification.
