Zwitter Pharmaceuticals Salz 5% Eye Drops Hypertonic saline 5%

Description: SALZ 5% is a sterile, hypertonic, preservative, saline solution in disposable containers. The SALZ 5% drops removes through natural osmotic properties the corneal swelling and the excess liquid and improves thereby the visual field. The SALZ 5% finds use, for example, after ophthalmic surgery (e.g. cataract surgery) and helps in the treatment of edema of the cornea caused by the screening of the eye (e.g. gonioscopy) by balancing the osmotic values ​​of corneal edema.

Instructions: Remove a disposable container. Observe each disposable container so as not be damaged. To open, turn the end of the disposable container to be cut. Do not pull it. Use 3-5 times daily one drop in the conjunctival sac of the affected eye. Avoid any contact with the eye after opening with hands. After instillation, slowly close the eye. For the duration of treatment as also for the regimen, consult your ophthalmologist.

Packaging: Single-use containers, 50x0,5ml.

Warnings and Precautions: Do not use damaged disposable containers. The eye must not come into contact with the disposable container. Only once used disposable container.

Because SALZ 5% contains no chemical preservative should the container rest not used.

Do not use eye drops after the expiry date which is stated on each container disposable.

Storage: Store between 15 and 25 C.
