The Wellion Newton GDH-FAD blood glucose test strips are used with the Wellion Newton meter to measure blood glucose levels.

The Wellion NEWTON test strips can be used for measurements on fresh capillary/venous whole blood and fresh whole blood from newborns.

The Wellion NEWTON meter is perfect for home measurements as well as professional use.

USE

Remove a Wellion NEWTON blood glucose test strip from the vial. Insert the strip into the meter to turn it on. You will see the flashing blood drop symbol and the strip symbol on the display.
2. Press the lancing device (with a new lancet) to the side of your fingertip and press the release button to puncture and collect the drop of blood.
3. Now hold the tip of the strip at a slight angle to the blood sample. The strip absorbs the blood. The meter will beep to let you know when there is enough blood for the test. The display will count down and after a few seconds the test result will appear.

USEFUL INFORMATION

• Do not use expired strips. Check the expiration date on the test strip vial and packaging.

• Use test strips immediately after removing them from the vial.

• Do not use wet or damaged test strips.

• Avoid direct sunlight and heat. Store test strips in a dry, cool environment (not in the bathroom).

• Discard the used test strip and lancet immediately after testing.
