WHAT IS CRETAN IAMA?

Cretan IAMA Olvos Science is a natural formulation that resulted from numerous years of research by distinguished professors of the University of Crete, who transubstantiated indigenous to substantial knowledge, in cooperation with Olvos Science, a subsidiary of Galenica, a Greek pharmaceutical company. The preparation has been studied in patients with viral infections of the respiratory tract or suffering from common cold and flu; its beneficial results were published in 2015 in the Journal of Ethnopharmacology.

WHAT DOES THE PREPARATION CONTAIN?

Through long years of testing, the research team was led to a combination of essential oils from 3 aromatic herbs, namely, Coridοthymus capitatus, Salvia fruticosa and Origanum dictamnus , at specific ratios. This preparation does not simply have a cumulative but a true synergistic effect. In other words, its effects exceed the total action of its separate ingredients, as one substance complements and/or enhances the action of the others.

The specific combination was lawfully registered under an international patent. The essential oils of the 3 aromatic herbs in the form of a soft capsule are dissolved in extra virgin olive oil.

WHAT ARE THE PROPERTIES OF CRETAN IAMA?

Besides epidemiological observations that indicated very low impact due to the common cold and the flue, researchers from the Laboratory of Clinical Virology at the University of Crete noted that the results of laboratory tests with the extract of the 3 aromatic herbs showed anti-viral properties that reduced the viral load and cytological lesions caused by virus infections. Furthermore, according to the results of a randomised, double-blind, placebo controlled clinical study on patients with viral respiratory tract infections, including patients with H1N1, both the intensity and the duration of their symptoms were reduced, while they also had reduced values of C-RP (C-reactive protein), a marker of inflammation in the body.

DOSAGE / RECOMMENDED DAILY DOSE

2 soft capsules taken once a day either in the morning or in the evening for at least one week.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
