La Roche-Posay Anthelios 100 KA+ MED Cream is used to prevent actinic hyperkeratosis (AK) and non-melanoma skin cancer (NMSC) and to reduce the incidence of skin cancer as part of a broader treatment regimen.

Very high broad-spectrum UVA & UVB protection thanks to a patented and photostable filter system including Mexoryl®, provides protection against the development of cancerous (except melanoma) and precancerous actinic lesions, as well as sun-induced DNA damage in patients with very photosensitive skin at risk of actinic hyperkeratosis (phototypes I-II) or undergoing immunosuppressive therapy.

The moisturizing formula, with DNA repair technology, is enriched with niacinamide and panthenol.

Promotes the protection of the epidermal barrier.

Promotes the repair of DNA damage by blocking ultraviolet radiation.

Fragrance-free.

USE

For topical use only. Apply before sun exposure or immediately after treatment. The following amounts should be applied to ensure optimal protection (2mg/cm²):

Apply the product every morning to the skin of the head, face, neck, décolleté and hands and reapply when necessary for complete protection from solar radiation. Sufficient amount per application for complete protection: scalp: 5 pumps, face: 5 pumps, neck: 3 pumps, décolleté: 7 pumps, hands: 8 pumps.

If applied to all of the above areas, use the product a maximum of 5 times a day.

​Repeat the application regularly in case of prolonged exposure and after swimming, sweating or towelling to maintain protection.

PRECAUTIONS

Patients undergoing dermatological or surgical treatment for actinic hyperkeratosis and non-melanoma skin cancer should not apply ANTHELIOS 100KA+MED CREAM directly to open wounds.

Avoid contact with eyes and mucous membranes. In case of accidental contact with eyes, rinse with clean water and contact a doctor if symptoms persist. In case of irritation, redness or intolerance, discontinue treatment immediately.

If symptoms persist, consult a doctor.

Not recommended for pregnant or breastfeeding women.

Keep out of reach of children.

Do not use if the tube is damaged.

Do not stay in the sun for too long, even when using a sunscreen product.

Excessive sun exposure is a serious health threat.

Wear protective clothing (shoulders, arms, etc.) in unprotected areas.

Before applying any other product, first use La Roche-Posay Anthelios 100 KA+ MED Cream and wait until it is completely absorbed. Daily and regular use throughout the year is essential for optimal prevention.
