Lamberts P5P 20mg (Most active form of vitamin B6) 60.tbs - Metabolically active form of Pyridoxine (Vitamin B6)
Lamberts P5P 20mg (Most active form of vitamin B6) 60.tbs - Metabolically active form of Pyridoxine (Vitamin B6)
Vitamin B6 is the sixth vitamin in the B complex. The biologically active forms of vitamin B6 are pyridoxal 5-phosphate (P5P) and pyridoxamine 5-phosphate (PMP). These forms are produced by phosphorylation of vitamin B6 after it is absorbed by the body.
Of the two biologically active molecules, pyridoxal 5-phosphate (P5P) is the more important form, as it is a cofactor for the majority of B6-dependent enzymes in the body.
Taking vitamin B6 as pyridoxal 5-phosphate does not require its conversion to the active form.
This dietary supplement provides 20mg of pyridoxal 5-phosphate (P5P) per tablet and all Lamberts® formulations are manufactured in the UK in accordance with strict pharmaceutical GMP standards.
