Carrier oils are essential in aromatherapy to be the "carrier" to which essential oils will be added. Hippophae rhamnoides oil is excellent for body care and is considered suitable for all skin types.

Hippophae is one of the oldest plants in Europe and Asia and belongs to the so-called super herbs. The 190 active ingredients that contain the plant cause admiration. Hippophaes is a herbal "drug store" as it contains vitamins A, B1, B2, C, E and K. It also contains beta-carotene (the richest) flavonoids (isorhamnetin, quercetin glycosides, kaempferol) (omega-3, omega-6, omega-7, omega-9) and minerals (Sodium, Potassium, Magnesium, Calcium, Zinc, Selenium). Thanks to these ingredients it enhances the natural regeneration of the skin, replenishing the lost moisture. Rejuvenates and moisturizes dry and dehydrated skins, and the natural balance of the skin reverts quickly, making it look brighter and more relaxed after every use. The skin gets fresh, looks refreshed and noticeably smoother.

It is ideal to "boost" other base oils and ideally suited to blend with camellia oil or coconut oil. For economic reasons, but also because it may cause very sensitive skins (if used neatly) to cause temporary discoloration, it is advisable to dilute it with some other base oil. Hippophaes oil is used in combination with essential oils for even better results.
