Iron oxides are chemical compounds composed of iron and oxygen. They are refined so as to remove the impurities initially contained and suitable for cosmetic use. These are high quality and purity pigments and can be incorporated into all kinds of products as they follow all European standards for the safety of cosmetics and raw materials. All the oxides are matte pigments, with earth colors that can be used to give color to makeup products, soaps or candles.

Yellow iron oxide can be used in shades, blushes, lipsticks or other lip products. It is very useful as a raw material in a covering makeup or powder for all skin tones and can work in larger quantity, compared to the other colors, since it is the primary tone in all skins. It can also be used to give yellow / mustard color to natural soaps or soap melt & pour. To incorporate it into natural soap, first dissolve it in a small amount of oil, such as olive oil or almond oil.

Use it in small quantities as it is a highly concentrated pigment. If you make a makeup or a powder, remember to mix all base powders well into a mortar or mill.

Keep well kept in a shady, dry environment for about 3 years.
